Our priority is to answer questions from all residents of British Columbia and the Yukon and from Canadian health professionals and researchers. • The BCCA cannot diagnose or advise on medical conditions via e-mail. Please read our treatment policies and Cancer Management Guidelines for general information or contact your physician or other health care professional for specific advice.
• In a medical emergency, call your physician or other health care professional, 911 or local emergency department immediately
• The Internet is not a secure communications channel and any personal information you include about yourself may be intercepted and viewed during transfer. To reduce your privacy risk, do not include sensitive personal medical information.
• The BC Cancer Agency is a public body subject to the BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. As such we must tell you how we intend to use your personal information. Your email address will only be used to contact you and not for any other use. Any information you provide in your email message will be used to direct your request to the appropriate services and to support your request.
