Investigations for Staging
The following investigations are recommended for preoperative clinical staging of patients with colon cancer:
- Complete history and physical examination
- Chest X-ray
- CT scan or ultrasound abdomen and pelvis
- Colonoscopy/ sigmoidoscopy and barium enema
