A neuro-oncology fund has been established within the B.C. Cancer Foundation to promote advancement of treatment, research and education specific to neuro-oncology. The purpose of the fund is to support clinicl and academic endeavors in the field of neuro-oncology, which includes support for:

• Acquisition of state-of-the-art technology to improve patient care
• Purchasing of educational aids to assist in patient, nursing, medical teaching
• Research projects, either clinical or basic science, in neuro-oncology
• Neuro-oncology site group sponsored academic meetings and programs
• Attendance at approved related scientific meetings
• Preparation of scientific papers for publications or presentations at meetings
