he following guidelines were prepared and peer reviewed by the registered dietitians at the BC Cancer Agency, in British Columbia, Canada. The information is intended to assist dietitians and other health professionals in providing nutritional care of cancer patients, who may experience a variety of symptoms as a result of cancer or its treatment (including surgery, chemotherapy, and/or radiation therapy). The guidelines do not replace any institutional, provincial, state or national standards of care that may be used to guide professional practice of dietitians.
