Our research activities have the goal to advance knowledge generation, translation and uptake in Oncology Nutrition. Research is outcome-based and clinically-focused and is developed with affiliations within BCCA and with academic institutions provincially and nationally.
All research activities within Oncology Nutrition have a strong practice-based focus and allow for timely knowledge translation to clinical practice. Initiatives have been primarily related to improving the care and management of patient groups at high risk of malnutrition and addressing survivorship-based needs. Some of these projects have included database development, needs assessments and pilot intervention studies.
