Oncology Pharmacy is a rapidly evolving discipline. Continuous professional development is essential to ensure that pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants possess the knowledge required to provide optimal care to cancer patients. The following oncology education resources are available to help enhance self-directed learning related to oncology practice.
BCCA Education Program for Oncology Pharmacists
This educational program is intended for pharmacists whose practice involves the care of cancer patients. The program consists of two levels:
- Level 1 – Provides a foundation of knowledge that will enable the pharmacist to demonstrate competence in Oncology practice.
- Level 2 – Facilitates the pharmacist to progress to an advanced level of clinical Oncology practice.
