BC Atlas Overview

The major objective of this BC Atlas is to provide, for the first time, baseline information on surgical oncology procedures in British Columbia. This information will be used to fulfill a major goal of the Provincial Surgical Oncology Council – to use research and outcome analysis to achieve the delivery of high quality service to the patient. Specifically this care or service needs to be efficient, equitable, accessible and integrated, which will require a balancing of resources.
