  4. Non-Gynecologic Cytology Consultations requested by pathologists or other physicians throughout British Columbia, and other provinces in Canada
  5. Cervical Screening Program - centralised screening for cervical cancer for all British Columbia
  6. Screening Mammography - review of biopsies from patients indentified through breast cancer screening program
  7. Reviews of and consultations on pathology/cytology slides from other hospitals in BC and other provinces, at the request of pathologists, surgeons, or oncologists needing a second opinion
  8. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) for Estrogen Receptors (ER), Progesterone Receptors (PR), Her2/Neu and other biomarkers that are important for prognosis and prediction of response to therapy.
  9. Fluorescence-in-situ hybridisation (FISH) or chromogenic in-situ hybridisation (CISH) for Her2/Neu or other gene amplifications, chromosomal translocations and the presence of pathogens such as Epstein Barr virus.
