Clinical Trials

During your treatment at the BC Cancer Agency you may be asked to take part in one of our clinical trials. This request can raise many questions, so before you make your decision, feel free to discuss your concerns with any member of your health care team. For further information, or to inquire about a clinical trial, please speak to your oncologist.
Staff at BC Cancer Agency's Fraser Valley Centre have prepared a video explaining the various types of clinical trials and the importance of clinical research. The video is available on the Online Video page of the Living Well with Cancer website.
Our clinical research teams study new or improved cancer treatments, as well as ways to prevent and detect cancer.
