Registered Nurses who meet the criteria may now apply for an individual provider number to submit cytology samples for cervical cancer screening in BC:

Practitioners and clinics submitting gynecological cytology samples for the first time or needing to update their contact information should contact the lab before sending in samples. Phone 1-877-747-2522 or fax to 604-708-8027.

Provincial Colposcopy Service

The Provincial Colposcopy Service was developed to act in a complementary manner to the provincial Cervical Cancer Screening Program (CCSP).

The Provincial Colposcopy Service investigates women with abnormal Pap test results. If recommended, women should be referred promptly for colposcopy. A copy of the Pap test result must accompany the referral letter.
