Cancer and the Family

  • Explore our new website, Cancer in my Family (www.cancerinmyfamily.ca), aimed at children aged 8 to 12. It's a fun interactive environment where children can feel safe, play games, create friendly characters – and at the same time explore how they’re feeling, and learn about cancer.

Cancer can impact all members of your family along with anyone else you care about or who cares about you. The effects can be in any area of your life including physical, psychological, social, emotional, or spiritual.

When we meet with parents and families, they express many similar questions, concerns or worries. The following information is provided to assist you in supporting each other.
