Relaxation Resources
BC Cancer Agency Patient and Family Counseling Staff have written and produced a variety of relaxation resources for cancer patients and their families. Recordings are available for women, men, children and multicultural audiences in audiotape or CD format and include music, autogenics, breath work, visualization, and guided imagery. 

Please contact your local cancer centre for prices and to order a copy.

Time for Me: An activity book for kids when someone in the family has cancer. (Second Edition Revised 2004.)
  By June Slakov and Karen Janes. This book is designed for school-aged children ages 6-12 to help them learn creative ways of coping when a family member has cancer. The activity book is also intended to open up ways for children and families to talk about cancer and learn together.

The cost of the Children's Activity Book "Time for Me", is $10.00 each, plus shipping and postage. 

A copy of the Children's Activity Book "Time for Me" is available at no charge to BC Cancer Agency registered parents with a diagnosis of cancer.
