As soon as reasonably possible but in any event no later than seven (7) days of occurrence of the event or the receipt of the report of the unanticipated problem by the Investigator from the Sponsor. |

Requests for Acknowledgement should be submitted as soon as reasonably possible but no later than seven (7) days after the Principal Investigator receives the relevant documentation or becomes aware of the new information or unanticipated problem. Exception: Periodic safety summary reports should be submitted no later than fifteen (15) calendar days after the Principal Investigator has become aware of or received the report from the sponsor. |
Researcher Information Services (RISe) system implementated at BCCA
Effective April 3, 2006 a Request for Acknowledgment of an item for a Clinical or Behavioural research project that was approved by the BCCA REB must be submitted using the new Researcher Information Services (RISe) system. See our RISe web page.
