  • RISe times-out:  Save your work.  The system will time-out and it is recommended that you "save" your work frequently, especially when filling in lengthy information so that it is not lost if the system times out before you respond to the warning to extend your session time.
  • RISe System Outages There may be periodic system outages (downtime) required for RISe programmers to install updates to the system to improve functionality or update forms.  The BCCA REB may not be aware of a planned outages, however, planned outages (dates and times) will be posted by the RISe programmers on the RISe Welcome page to provide all users with as much advance notice as possible.
  • Open Items in a New Tab or Window to keep your place in RISe after closing the item.
  • RISe Tutorials and Sandbox are available on the RISe Welcome page with a link to a "sandbox" which is a test site where you can try out RISe without using any live data.  When you login to RISe there are tutorials on your homepage.
  • Fill in Blanks with N/A - ensure all boxes of the RISe application form are filled out appropriately. If there is a question that does not apply to your particular study, please fill out the box as “N/A”.
