Shannon Valdez, BSc
Shannon completed her BSc in Biochemistry at the University of Victoria in 2005. She is a research technologist in Dr. Sylvia Ng’s laboratory in the Department of Advanced Therapeutics at the BC Cancer Agency’s Research Centre.
Her research focuses on characterizing pancreatic cancer-associated fibroblast cells in order to identify factors that may influence tumor response to chemotherapy.
