The Terry Fox Laboratory was created in 1981 as a joint undertaking between the BC Cancer Agency; the BC Cancer Foundation; the University of British Columbia; and the National Cancer Institute of Canada. It is located in the BC Cancer Agency's Research Centre in Vancouver, BC.
The Terry Fox Laboratory's mission is to fuel major improvements in cancer outcomes through basic and translational research with a current focus on cancer stem cells.
