Health and Safety

Published: October 30, 2009

The wellness and safety of our patients and employees is extremely important to us.

Precautions in the event of outbreak of an infectious disease

We would like to ensure that we are prepared to implement the necessary steps required to control an outbreak of an infectious disease that represents a risk to patients, employees and others associated with our clinics.

It is therefore absolutely essential that if you have fever AND respiratory symptoms or have been in contact in the last 2 weeks with a contagious disease you must NOT come to the centre for your appointment but call your health professional from home.

Similarly if you have fever AND respiratory symptoms or have been in contact in the last 2 weeks with a contagious disease you must NOT enter the centre to visit a patient.

Please refer to the instructions on our poster for further details.

IMPORTANT - please read: Letter to Patients about H1N1 Seasonal Flu VaccinesPDF and FVC Influenza Vaccine Directive for Patients

FVC is a "non-smoking" environment.

Smoking is not premitted within the building.

FVC is a "scent free" environment.

In consideration of our patients and staff who have scent related allergies kindly refrain from wearing perfume, scented hairspray, cologne, scented deodorant, after shave or other scented products while visiting our centre. Thank you for your co-operation.
