Populations Outcomes

The Populations Outcomes Unit is committed to research the impact of cancer care and services on outcomes for cancer patients by maximizing use of the unique provincial data sources within and outside the BC Cancer Agency.
This theme provides support for research projects by providing trained and enthusiastic staff, providing research mentorship, and facilitating collaboration with knowledgeable health records staff and statisticians.
Thus far, results from Populations Outcomes research projects have guided treatment decisions in many different types of cancer locally, provincially and internationally, through peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
