Support Programs

If you are a cancer patient or a family member you may want to attend a support program at your cancer centre, online or in your community
Supportive, relaxing and helpful to discover myself once again, with the help of hearing other peoples experiences

All cancer centres offer support programs but not all programs are the same. We have different types of programs focusing on things like cancer education, relaxation and/or social support. Most programs are free of charge and you will need to sign up but some centres may also offer a drop-in program.

To assist in communicating with your health care professional, all regional Centre's offer interpreting services 24-hours-a-day in over 150 different languages and dialects. Sign language interpreters are also available for deaf and hard-of-hearing patients. Patients or family members can ask a member of the health care team to place a request for an interpreter (at no cost).
