Reporting Cancers to the Registry

The BC Cancer Registry asks laboratories and diagnostic imaging centres to report all new cancer cases to the BC Cancer Registry.

Reporting guidelines

Note: Non-malignant tumours of the brain and the central nervous system are reportable to the cancer registry.

Please submit reports online, by fax or through the regular post. 

Note: Please do not submit reports by email as they may contain confidential patient information.


If you are a BC Cancer employee you can submit a report through CAIS (Cancer Agency Information System). To request a CAIS account, contact the Service Catalogue (requires network login).
