Before Your First Visit

We appreciate how overwhelming your first visit can be. Our experienced team of staff and volunteers are here to help you with any questions or concerns you may have.

Before your first visit, one of our staff will call you to get some general information. This phone call will cover:

  • The names of physicians who are treating you now
  • Whether you need any interpretation help or someone to drive you to your appointment

Please note: The Freemason Cancer Car service provides transportation to our centre from various areas within Prince George (Ph: 250-645-2373).

If you are traveling to our centre from out of town, the Northern Health Connections travel program provides transportation to Prince George from around northern BC (To book: 1-888-647-4997)

Our Guidebook for Patients offers further information to help you prepare for your first visit to our centre, and will also help to explain what happens during your visit.
