Donating to the Fraser Valley Centre

BC Cancer Foundation
The BC Cancer Foundation is the fundraising partner of BC Cancer.

Together, with our donors, we are changing the outcome for people affected by cancer in British Columbia and beyond by connecting personalized care, innovative research and opportunities to give and give back. Every dollar we raise stays right here at BC Cancer to advance research, enhance care and break down cancer to benefit the people of BC.

Help expand the Fraser Valley Centre

Building a better patient experience.

The BC Cancer Fraser Valley Cancer Centre, located adjacent to Surrey Memorial Hospital was built to accommodate 2,500 patients per year. Currently, more than 3,300 patients are being referred to the Centre.

The BC Cancer Foundation has embarked on a $1 million fundraising campaign to help support the expansion and renovation of the Fraser Valley Centre – an expansion that will boost the Centre’s capacity, allowing it to meet the increasing demand for cancer treatment.

Plans are in place to help bring everything under one roof and expand capacity, but the help of the community is urgently needed to make this a reality.

Once completed, the expansion will bring patients:

  • 8 more chemotherapy chairs, which means we'll have the ability to provide up to 4,300 more chemotherapy treatments.

  • An additional 13,000 Ambulatory Care Unit visits with additional examination rooms and stretchers.

  • A permanent home for all our researchers and clinicians.
