Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) improves the health of British Columbians by seeking province-wide solutions to specialized health care needs in collaboration with BC health authorities and other partners.
We have professionally trained counsellors who specialize in cancer care. We counsel patients, couples and family groups during cancer treatment and beyond. We also lead support programs. Our centre also has a Chinese speaking counsellor.
This program includes vocational assessment, resource referral, information, advocacy assistance and counselling related to rehabilitation issues for patients and family members.
Peer navigators are cancer survivor volunteers who provide Chinese-speaking patients with conversational support, and help them find resources.
Complimentary wig service is provided through the Jean C. Barber Lodge

This is the time patients begin to have the space, energy and ability to begin asking and planning for: “What next?” Participants can look forward to an interactive series that uses creative ways to support your healing and recovery!
