BC Cancer's Library and Cancer Information Centres provide materials and services to our staff and we also help the people of BC and the Yukon.
Library staff will help patients, members of the public and health-care professionals to find information. We use a wide variety of resources, including electronic information sources and Internet searches.

Library catalogue

All loans for books, audios and videos are for four weeks. Search the catalogue and request items from any of our six libraries. A mail-out service is available for all people in BC and the Yukon.

We have a growing collection of ebooks available for people in BC and the Yukon to use at home. Contact the library to register for ebook access.

The library provides pathfinders, which are descriptive lists of some of our books, dvds, support services and websites.

Services for BCCA Staff and Physicians

The  BCCA Library offers library and information services, including document delivery, literature searches and systematic reviews, and individual and group training, to all BC Cancer staff and physicians. BC Cancer staff and physicians should contact their local librarian for individual assistance.

BC Cancer staff and physicians are encouraged to use the internal website Library Links to access the Library’s online information sources. You must be on a BC Cancer computer for access. CRC staff have access to Library Links via their local intranet:

Library Links provides staff with access to practice tools and information resources: ejournals; ebooks; Refworks; online databases, including MEDLINE, CINAHL, PsycINFO, EMBASE, Natural Medicines, Lexicomp, the Cochrane Library, UpToDate, and more.
