More BC women are due for mammograms than ever before. Join the movement. Join the Mammolanche!

BC Cancer Breast Screening is calling on women to join the Mammolanche, a movement for mammograms.
Regular screening makes changes in the breast easier to spot and it can find lumps two to three years before you or your doctor can feel them. Just by getting regular screenings, you can reduce your risk of breast cancer mortality by 25%. Even with the benefits of screening, only half of women who’ve screened return for their regular mammograms. BC Cancer is asking women to make a commitment to getting regular mammograms by joining the Mammolanche.
How can you participate in the Mammolanche? It’s easy!
- If you’re due for your mammogram, book now by calling 1-800-663-9203 or use the BC Cancer Breast Screening
clinic locator to find a clinic near you.
- If you’re not due for your mammogram yet, mark your calendar to remind yourself to book.
- Help us spread the word by
sharing our Facebook post and asking your eligible friends and family to join the Mammolanche too.
