Hereditary Cancer Rounds are an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Open to any health care professional who provides care for people with hereditary cancer, and/or has interest in cancer genetics, is welcome to attend, the prime objectives of Hereditary Cancer Rounds are as follows:
- To enhance knowledge of the genetic basis, prognosis, treatment and screening of hereditary cancer.
- To promote information exchange between disciplines.
- To provide opportunity to share knowledge, perspectives and experience between specialists who provide care for individuals and families with hereditary cancer.
