The new BC Cancer centre in Kamloops is situated on the traditional and unceded Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc territory of the Secwépemc Nation.
BC Cancer and the Provincial Health Services Authority, in partnership with Interior Health, are building a new BC Cancer centre in Kamloops to bring radiation treatment closer to home for those in Kamloops and surrounding areas.
Construction is now underway on the new BC Cancer centre, which is targeted to open in 2028.
The new BC Cancer centre in Kamloops is expected to host 7,500 patient radiation consultations and follow-up appointments annually. In its opening year, the centre is expected to provide approximately 16,500 treatments for up to 1,200 patients.

Clinical trial opportunities
The new BC Cancer centre in Kamloops will have capacity for clinical trials opportunities that will operate in collaboration with other regional sites.
