Job action updates

We are continuing to see patients for cancer treatment and appointments during the ongoing BC Nurses’ Union (BCNU) job action.
Please attend your appointments as scheduled. If your appointment needs to be changed, your care team will contact you directly.

We value the important contributions of nurses and all unionized staff and support a collective bargaining process based on fairness, equity and respect.

Today and everyday, we are committed delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support. Thank you for your patience, understanding and support.

Onsite picketing

BCNU picketing could occur at a BC Cancer centre or at a regional health authority hospital connected or adjacent to one of our centres.

If there is picketing at or near your BC Cancer centre, please attend your appointments as scheduled. We will continue to provide patient care and will contact you directly if there are any changes to your appointment.
