BCNU picketing could occur at a BC Cancer centre or at a regional health authority hospital connected or adjacent to one of our centres.
If there is picketing at or near your BC Cancer centre, please attend your appointments as scheduled. We will continue to provide patient care and will contact you directly if there are any changes to your appointment.
BC Cancer patients can continue to access nursing support by phone for symptoms related to cancer treatments. Phone line nurses cannot provide appointment information or make or change your treatment and appointment schedules. They cannot share lab and imaging results.
