In general, the following reports are required for referrals to the BC Cancer for gastrointestinal cancers:

  • Pathology report
  • History/consultation reports
  • Imaging reports
  • Operative/procedure reports
 

The Gastrointestinal (GI) Tumour Group is a multidisciplinary team that includes medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, hematologists, neuro-oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, pharmacists, nurses and many others from cancer centres and health authorities within British Columbia.
