| IIa | Extension and/or metastasis to the uterus or ovary |
| IIb | Extension to other pelvic tissues |
| III | Growth involving one or both tubes with widespread intraperitoneal metastasis to the abdomen (the omentum, the small intestine and its mesentery) |
| IV | Growth involving one or both tubes with distant metastasis outside the peritoneal cavity. |
