Kelowna is the first Canadian site to install and treat patients with a Ethos treatment machine. This state of the art machine enables the development of adaptive radiotherapy in B.C.
Specialized roles for radiation therapists in clinical trials, patient navigation and triage, allowing radiation therapists to work in an expanded team based care structure.
The only cancer centre in B.C. to offer interstitial brachytherapy for gynecological cancers and high dose rate brachytherapy (HDR BT) for breast and prostate cancer.
