Research

BC Cancer – Surrey is an active research clinic.

We contribute to knowledge generation through Clinical Trials and additional research done within our facility. Research is an integral aspect of our clinical care and our team is continually involved in a growing research program.

During your visits to BC Cancer – Surrey you may be asked to take part in one of our research studies. This request can raise many questions, so before you make your decision, feel free to discuss your concerns with any member of your care team. For further information or to participate in a Clinical Trial please speak to your Oncologist.

Our research teams study new or improved cancer treatments, as well as ways to prevent and detect cancer. Through these studies we hope to continuously learn how to provide better services for all patients at BC Cancer.
