We are a provincial program, with the hub in Victoria, that provides services, support, and advice to researchers and biobanks on accessing, collecting, and utilizing human biospecimens and associated data for health research.
Our active biobank, Tumour Tissue Repository (TTR), collects biospecimens and health information to support cancer research. Patients who have or will receive a medical treatment for a tumour, and who are over the age of 18, are eligible to participate in the biobank. Patients may be referred by their Physician or they may self-refer to the biobank.
