PET/CT scanning at BC Cancer is performed for both adult and pediatric clinical indications.
In addition to operating two PET/CT scanners at its Vancouver location, BC Cancer opened another PET/CT facility at its Victoria location in July 2019. A third PET/CT facility opened at its Kelowna location in August 2020. This continued provincial program expansion will greatly increase access to clinical PET/CT services while providing those services closer to home.
