If you are calling outside of hours of operation and have an urgent problem related to your cancer and BC Cancer – Abbotsford is closed, call the
Abbotsford Regional Hospital at
604-851-4710 and tell them you are a BC Cancer patient. The switchboard operator will contact either the on-call medical oncologist or radiation oncologist who will return your call.
If you are visiting the Abbotsford Regional Hospital emergency room outside of hours of operation, take a number, report directly to the triage nurse and tell them you are a BC Cancer patient.
Patients with cancer park for free
Paid parking is back at all hospital sites starting March 4, 2022. You can still park for free for appointments and tests related to your cancer treatment after this date.
To park for free at BC Cancer – Abbotsford, please register your licence plate with the parking attendant located inside the BC Cancer Entrance on Level 1, Sumas building. Please do not pay for parking.

Where to park
You can access the patient and visitor parking lot (map) from Marshall Road. The parking lot is next to the Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre main entrance. This is the closest parking lot to the Sumas building, where BC Cancer – Abbotsford is located. There are many parking spots for people with disabilities by the main entrance. There is also a taxi waiting area.
Paid parking
If you are not onsite for cancer treatment, you will have to pay for parking. Parking meters are inside each entrance to the building. They accept credit cards or cash (exact change only). Parking rates are on the parking meters. Tickets must be displayed if you want to leave the parking lot and come back.
The health and safety of our patients and employees is extremely important to us. Please do not visit if you have a fever and respiratory symptoms, or have been exposed to an
infectious disease within the last two weeks. If you are a patient, please call your healthcare provider from home.
Smoking is not permitted in the buildings or on the grounds by staff, patients or visitors. If you have any questions about this policy, please email

In consideration of our patients and staff who have scent-related allergies, please do not wear perfume, scented hairspray, cologne, deodorant, aftershave or other scented products while visiting. Thank you for your co-operation.
