As a volunteer, you make a tremendous contribution to the care we provide our patients.
The BC Cancer Agency has many volunteer opportunities available, including roles in the Cancer Information Centre, ambulatory care units, chemo room, refreshment cart, patient escort, pet therapy, office support, and various other positions.
If you would like to join our volunteer team, we invite you to visit the centre in your community.
Listed below are links to each centre where you will be able to view specific information about what is available in there.
You can make a difference in the life and family of patients.
Volunteers are needed by the Canadian Cancer Society's CancerConnection program. The Cancer Connection service connects people living with cancer with trained volunteers who listen, provide hope, offer encouragement and share ideas for coping – all from their unique perspective as someone who’s been there.
If you are a former patient or caregiver and are interested in being a volunteer with this service Please Call 1-888-939-3333 or Emailvolunteer@bc.cancer.ca
