We offer psychiatry services at each of our cancer centres.

Psychiatrists are important members of the cancer care team. Our psychiatrists are medically trained mental health specialists with a subspecialty in oncology. We can help to address complex situations related to cancer illness and treatment like anxiety, depression, sleep, fears to face surgery, memory, problems in thinking and review medications among other things.

If you are a cancer patient wanting to see a psychiatrist please talk to your oncologist (cancer doctor) or family doctor about a referral. You can also talk to a nurse or a counsellor at your cancer centre about seeing a psychiatrist.
